1. http://www.bulliondirect.com is legit. So is http://www.nwtmintbullion.com and http://www.thesilverxchange.com The problem is that they all have a minimum purchase requirement of $1,000 or more, and it takes forever for them to fill the order... they have to get a check from you, then wait for your check to clear and then you wait for about a month. Check for local coin dealers where you can take cash and actually pick it up instead of waiting all that time and paying for insurance and shipping. I know you don't usually pay sales tax at the coin dealers for bullion or silver round over $1,000 but sometimes you just want $500.
