there is any relation between gold price and BSE sensex?

there is any relation between gold price and BSE sensex? i want to know whether any similarities in gold price stock market movement..if BSE sensex is moves high the gold price will increace or not?

1. there is no direct relation but it is an investment option and if one is lot lucrative then the investor moves to the other so they are related one goes down the other goes up and vise versa
