Nowadays in India there is a considerable decrease in Gold rate and the merchants are very depressed that the price reduction is only due to Implication of Online business. My question is what is the relation between Gold Price and Online business?? Thanks buddy.. But I think I got a answer frm different source. Online Gold business tends to book gold for one date and make the merchant to deliver the gold to customers on the forthcoming dates.. The advantage s 4 Online merchants and the potential buyer of this gold always go for easy online purchase which increases demand for gold faster-and-faster and the gold prices go up due to lack of supply. Why not the Govt takes up the business of Gold and Jewelery. Our sisters are being cheated in India? I feel govt should take up gold and Jewelery business. as our sisters in India are being cheated. i quote one example. pearl costs rs. 8/ per 10 gram and it is being sold by jeweler @ rs.80/ 10 gm. and our sisters are paying. why to pay rs. 80 for a thing of rs. 8/- .Rate of gold changes daily. as such there in no max retail price. the purity of gold is being cheated. 18 KT gold is being sold as 22 KT. this business is flouring like any thing you will find shops like pan shop every where every lane and road. please think is very serious question

Besides investment, what is driving the demand side for Gold? AU, Kruggerands, etc. It has tripled over 15 years, doubling in the just the past few. The percentage swing versus platinum was significantly pronounced, so what demand exists for gold excluding jewelry, unless it is still exploding in India and affecting the price?
